16x16
acrylic on cradled panel
I have painted a smaller version sometime ago, an 8x8. This is the progress from today. I did not do much yesterday as I had to work. I am hoping to have this ready by Feb 6th for the Tracy Art League show. Tomorrow, I am back to work and then to Stan's for my Monday night sessions. I'll post again but no guarantees as to when. Thanks for being here and looking in!
Beautiful! The colors are sublime!
ReplyDeleteThanks, they will be changing as I go along.
DeleteVery pretty!! Great brush work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tam. I am hoping it will get better as I progress.
DeleteThis is a gorgeous painting, Kaethe. Can't wait to see it when it's finished! You have so many beautiful paintings on your website. I'm so glad I found your blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara! I so appreciate the Internet. I have been able to make connections with wonderful artists like you!
DeleteKaethe, I can't believe I missed most of January when it came to visiting blogs. Have just been catching up on all your stunning work! Love all that you did in Hawaii - how lovely to spend time with your family. I was also impressed with your I-pad paintings - yours is the second blog I have seen them on in the last two days - very intriguing what can be done with artrage!
ReplyDeleteI loved the smaller version you did of this painting and this one is shaping up just as magnificently!
You're on the downhill run now - great work!!
Thank you Wendy! You always have a wonderful way with words! Loved seeing your photos!
DeleteI remember the smaller one. Love that you are painting it bigger. This is a terrific comp and just beautiful light. Look forward to the finish.
