This past Monday I learned that all 5 of my paintings and 1 giclee were accepted into the Fine Art Competition at the Marin County Fair.  You can see my work and the work of other artists July 1 to July 5 at 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael, CA 94903.

I think that yesterday's painting was more complex I needed to have an outlet with a big brush. This is the result. I remember reading Carol Marine's post about starting with a big brush and then going in later for details with a smaller brush. At least I think that is what she said. I did most of this with a size 8 filbert. This was painted for the DPW weekly challenge.

I suppose if Scott and I lived in a retirement community, we would see golf carts going by instead of skiffs. I'm always taking pics from the back of our boat. No one is safe, including these three!
