Blue Scooter

I just finished a week long workshop with Carol Marine in the city. It was fantastic and I can't believe how fast the time went :(. Here is one I finished today. We went out a couple of afternoons and took photos for subject matter... I think I shot this scooter 20 times from 20 different angles. Scooters are all over the city. Just when I got to know the parking attendant and the young woman behind the cafe counter, I am saying good-bye. There will be next year, of course. 6x6 oil on panel. It is currently being used for a show with school children.

  3. Hi Kaethe,

I've been a fan of yours since our Webinar. I must say this is one of your finest paintings. Color combinations on the bike and shadows are great. I'll get to a Marine workshop yet!
