Hey Chris, liked your latest post on the goat! Thank you for your comment. Always means a lot!
Kaethe, not an easy one to paint. The shadows are terrific and you did not lose the dog in the shadow. Absolutely great. And thank you for commenting on my blog. Love to paint!
Nobody does the sunlight and shadow thing as successfully as you do. I think you where the first one to articulate it to me. Doing it well and consistently that is the really tricky part.
And it is my struggle. I have a pile of old paintings to prove it! Thanks Jo!
Not only do you create a fabulous painting, you create a fabulous painting that makes me feel I know those dogs!
They were so longing for their people!
hmm.. I was pretty sure I left a comment here yesterday.. but anyhoo.. I love this painting! very realistic and one of your best.. just love his pose and shiny fur.
Oh sorry, I didn't see one come in. Thank you for trying again Bhavani!
Hi Kaethe, what a great painting of these beautiful dogs! Such a lovely sun-shiny coat the one in the foreground has!I have just realised I was remiss in not commenting on your 30 day challenge - what a great achievement! I particularly loved the cat on the couch and wish I had got in quicker before it sold!My Fifo Daddy is such a great concept and you've done really beautiful paintings. So nice for you to collaborate with your niece on such a special project. I hope to finally order it in the next few days - I'm looking forward to having my own copy!
Oh Wendy! You are so sweet! I really appreciate your support!
Have ordered the book and look forward to it arriving in the mail! It looks like it's selling like hotcakes from what I have seen on Facebook! Well done!
Thank you Wendy! My niece is happy about how things are progressing. It was a fun project!
I am in awe at your ability with animals. Your values are always spot-on, and your drawing/painting skill amazes.
Back at you Julie!
