acrylic on cradled panel
Yet another Western Australian painting. I didn't think I would be doing any sort of theme for the 30 in 30 challenge but I guess I am, at least for the first part of the challenge. This is my little niece Sage. Aimee, her mom, is a wonderful photographer and shares her photos with me all the time!
It is lovely.

DeleteThis is a beautiful painting, Kaethe! When did you last visit WA?
ReplyDeleteActually, I never have. I have family there. My niece and her husband moved there 2 years ago. Thank goodness for emails and Facebook!
DeleteGreat color and movement!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol... especially nice coming from someone who is a master at color and movement!
DeleteI'm so happy to have found your blog, Kaethe. I love your work! I will look forward to seeing what you paint next. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Darla! I am looking forward to seeing yours as well!
DeleteLove your people paintings Kaethe. You have so captured the stride of a young child. They move around so quickly.
ReplyDeleteThank you for saying she looks like a child. My fear is that I paint children to be older than they are!
ReplyDeleteVery cute, well done
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret!

ReplyDeleteThe reference was taken at Dolphin Quay. Do you know where that is?
