acrylic on cradled panel
I think I am done. I continue to paint everyday, That is my challenge for these 30 days in January. I have been in love with this image for a long time. I will be taking this into my critique class with Tim Horn in the next 2 weeks. I won't be putting my signature on until then. I have 3 other paintings that I am working on and I have a life drawing/painting session coming up next weekend. In short, more to come!

Deletewonderful piece, nice work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Paint Your World!
DeleteThis just gets better and better, Kaethe. It's wonderful how you capture the patterns in the water, the sense of movement and light -- and I just noticed the tiled floor of the pool! Wow, it's a stunning piece of work. On a less-analytical level, of course, it's an utterly captivating scene.
ReplyDeleteThank you Helene! I debated on those tiles too!
DeleteWOW! Your water is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun, trying to paint the various transitions and shifts in color!
DeleteIt's beautiful Kaethe! Hope you enjoy the critique class with Tim Horn! Can't wait to see more of your 30 in 30 challenge!
