Day 16, Puppy #1 AKA Umm...the dog ate my homework, I mean painting.

This is Jack. There was a whole painting until yesterday morning. When I came from upstairs, I had to look twice, Niko had something in his mouth. Need I say more? At least this time I didn't have to take him to the vet to get a stocking removed. Jo Mackenzie, my artist friend always post how she learns something each time she paints. Well, I have learned to keep my paintings up higher. Poor little Jack :(.  Not quite 4x4 acrylic on chewed gessobord.   To see the other artists participating in the "30 in 30" challenge, click here.

  3. Is it for sale even if it is chewed? I think it is even more endearing this way.You could be the first pet artist with authentic dog interaction.

    1. I am waiting to see if Jack's owner likes it. I agree how better to have a conversational piece. If you want authentic dog interaction on your work, I am willing to share Niko's talent. He would love to help out!

  7. Gorgeous painting Kaethe, and what a great title you got out of the little misadventure! I think the chewed corner makes it a very original piece indeed. You could start a whole new trend in animal paintings!!
