Day 22, The Commuters

I sat at a corner cafe in San Francisco and took pictures for about 15 minutes. Intersections have a ot going on. I learned that day, if you find a setting, they will come. This is a 9x12 that I finished today. Acrylic on cradled panel. Sold

  1. Great design, Kaethe! And the red really sets the focal point!

    1. Thanks Dean. I once had an instructor who told me if you have a little red in your painting, you are more likely to sell it. I didn't do it for that purpose. She was wearing those colors. How lucky is that?

    1. I can't. I used a photo I took while sitting in the cafe. I wish I could do that!

  3. Kaethe, is there anything you can't paint?! I know I say this all the time - but you really know how to capture the light!! The composition is also fantastic!

    1. I am definitely challenged by gray days and I can't paint a tea cup like you!
